Essence Iittala

The Essence series was created in 2001 by Swiss designer Alfredo Häberli for Finnish design manufacturer Iittala. The Essence drinking glasses were designed with a simple basic idea. To be able to serve fine wines in suitable, correct glasses with as few different glasses as possible.
As the series was a great success, Iittala brought more Essence glasses onto the market.
When they stand side by side, they convey a wonderful feeling of balance. This is because the stem and base of all the glasses are the same size and the goblets have similar proportions
