The baskets are filled with vegetables, rice, meat, fish or the popular dumpling, dim sum or momos. Then the pot is used, filled with a little water and placed on the stove. The bamboo baskets are placed in the pot and arranged so that they do not touch the water. Because the different baskets are stackable, several dishes (for example, meat rice and vegetables) can be cooked with one cooking process.

Small tips: Before the first use, the various baskets made of bamboo should be soaked in water. A quarter of an hour is enough to eliminate the inherent odor that these makes may have.
