The HORL ceramic wheel with 1000 grit is already mounted on the HORL roll grinder and serves as a honing wheel to smooth the cutting edge and remove the burr.
The ceramic wheel is extremely durable. If you do need to replace the wheel, it is also available separately, like all Horl whetstones.
