Arzberg

Arzberg porcelain stands for timeless design and durable product quality. In 1872, Heinrich Schuhmann founded a pottery factory in the Upper Franconian town, which ten years later was renamed the porcelain factory and was on the international market as an independent porcelain brand in 1887.
The breakthrough came with Hermann Gretsch's Form 1382. He convinced with the universal aesthetics of modern industrial design according to the essential principles of Bauhaus and the Werkbund, thus laying the foundation for the company's worldwide success. Since then, many renowned designers have accompanied Arzberg on the path of "good form". In total, the current Arzberg collection includes products with over 30 national and international design awards.
