Since the 1950s, the "Kanzlerbesteck" has been one of the most popular cutlery items in the Pott range. During the Ludwig Erhard era, almost all German embassies were equipped with the silver version in addition to the Chancellery. Numerous intelligent details optimize the handling of the cutlery. For example, the knife has a bulbous curve in front of the blade, where the force of the fingers can have the greatest impact.
