A classic from the house of Alessi, designed by the famous architect and designer Michael Graves, is the 9093 "Bird Kettle".

The bird on the spout pays homage to its porcelain predecessors and to the ornaments of 19th century American tea sets. Alessi's steel water kettle, on the other hand, presents a conical classicism, emphasized by a dotted ring on the bottom and a black ball as a lid handle.

The kettle is an indispensable kitchen gadget that should not be hidden in the cupboard! In no time you have hot water for making tea. The clever thing about this kettle is that when the water boils, you can hear a whistle. This is because there is a small plastic bird sitting on the kettle's flute.
