Birdie fresh air monitor
Oak CO2 sensor
Do you want a bird too? It comes from Denmark and monitors carbon dioxide levels in offices, waiting rooms, classrooms and living spaces.
As a rule of thumb, one Birdie® is usually sufficient for rooms up to 100 m². It is best to place the device in the room where you spend the most time.
If there are several floors or closed rooms - such as a bedroom - a separate Birdie should be installed in each area. The optimum height for installation is between 1.5 and 2.5 meters.
The Birdie®, as it was christened by its discoverers, uses an integrated CO2 sensor (state-of-the-art Swiss sensor technology) to remind you to regularly let fresh air into the rooms. When CO2 levels are high, the canary hangs upside down from its branch and straightens up again as soon as the air in the room is refreshed.
The symbolism of the bird: miners used to take a canary into the coal mines to detect poisonous gases. If the bird fainted, it was time to leave the mine immediately.
Note: The charging time with the charging cable included in the delivery is 4 hours for a runtime of 6 months.
The Birdie® must be charged with the supplied cable.
