The Güde bread knife Profi is test winner of 12 tested bread knives. The Güde bread knife Profi convinces with its cutting power, clean cutting pattern and wide hand protection.

The Güde bread knife Profi convinces the ETM test magazine by its outstanding cutting power: Fresh breads with crispy crust can be cut effortlessly without tearing the inside of the bread.

In 1941, Franz Güde invented the Güde serrated edge in the town of Solingen, which has been known since the Middle Ages for its blades manufacture. Compared to conventional, smoothly ground blades, this serrated edge offers considerable advantages when slicing bread. Smooth blades crush or tear the bread because of its consistency instead of cutting it. Bread knives with Güde serrated edge and sawing technique can cleanly cut through hard crusts as well as the soft interior without great effort. This Güde serrated edge with pointed teeth significantly increases the cutting ability and cutting durability of the Güde bread knife Profi 32 cm.
